Bereavement
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. - Matthew 5:4
Coping with the loss of a loved one is the most painful experiences on the journey of life. Our parish is blessed to have a ministry dedicated to comforting those who mourn. Our Bereavement Ministry is for all those who have suffered a recent death of a loved one. Throughout the year, widows of the parish come together for lunch and fellowship. Widowers normally meet individually. This ministry is tailored to the needs of individuals going through a time of loss. Each year, in November, a special Mass is celebrated to remember those who have died during the past year.

Catholic Men's Fellowship
Mission: To provide for a gathering of Catholic men in a fellowship that provides for; thoughtful prayer, Bible scripture reading and discussion, praying for each other and all men to provide a strong Christian example no matter where we may be and promote a strong Catholic life style. To be a group where thoughts and feelings can be brought out to the group so that a sharing of a burden can occur and that together there is strength in praying, and the sharing of joys and concerns.

Meet first Monday of every month in the Meeting Room at 7:30 PM for an hour to hour and half. When the Lord's words are heard and shared, and our joys and concerns are lifted up to Jesus, then we know the time to leave is known.

Ladies of Charity
We seek to follow the example of Jesus who taught, "to serve rather than be served."
The Ladies of Charity of St. Germaine Parish is affiliated with the Ladies of Charity of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. According to the founder. St.. Vincent de Paul, "The purpose of the Association is to imitate the Divine Savior in serving the needy, sick, the elderly, youth and children and in bringing them corporal and spiritual nourishment." -- Ladies of Charity Manual

The Ladies of Charity meet every third Monday of the month from September through June.

“The harvest is great but the laborers few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” –Matthew 9:-37-38

OUR GROUP- Who are the Ladies of Charity?
We are a group of women who hope to share our love for Christ with those in need by following the example of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac through companionship, personal service and compassion.

Our group was organized in September 2000, and has continued providing various ministries to the elderly, and parish community.  We have 22 active members meeting September through June.

OUR MINISTRIES
Our ministries include prayer for each other and others, food and clothing collections, service to the homebound and less fortunate.
