The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an organization made up of lay
persons (men, women, and youth) whose mission is to help, in a quiet
and confidential manner, the poor, the needy, and those less fortunate
who live in our community. Our ministry serves all of the members
living in our newly formed parish. We satisfy the corporal needs of our
friends in need by providing food, clothing, housing and payment of
household expenses. When CDC guidelines allow, we will resume
meeting their spiritual needs by visiting our shut-ins, those in hospitals
and nursing homes, in order to pray with them and sometimes just to
listen and console.
